Making a site visit to the client's office we assess space, architectural programming, decor, lighting and budget. At this time we outline financial parameters of the project with the client.
After allocating placement of artwork on floor plan according to budget categories we prepare a proposed budget which includes costs of artwork, framing, packing and shipping, installation, documentation of new and existing artworks, sales tax and expenses.
Present two or three artworks for each designated location to client or art committee so that client may choose one artwork.
Oversee all purchasing, framing, shipping, and installation of artwork. If applicable, we also recommend art insurance.
Update computer inventory and documentation of artwork's location and condition utilizing existing inventory system or creating on according to artist, title, date, accession number, medium, size, frame and location.
Conduct bi-weekly physical walk through and physical inspection of artworks.
Upkeep labeling system, lighting and superficial cleaning of artworks
Submit formal condition reports on any artwork with conservation or framing problems
Monitor all contractual agreement with recommended art handlers, conservators, framers and cleaning suppliers. Administer loan agreements, if necessary.
Oversee annual appraisal of collection; arrange for and update insurance coverage.
Direct professional art handlers or in-house maintenance staff in the installation or deinstallation of art.
Maintain art storage facilities.
Serve as liaison for art committee reviews.
Oversee all purchasing, framing, shipping, conservation, storage and installation of artwork.
Rotate artworks, if necessary.
Deaccession artworks, if necessary.
