SITE ASSESSMENT
Meet with architect and conduct walk through to assess quality of space, circulation, architectural program and/or intention.

Discuss scope of project and proposed areas for artwork.

Survey floor plans and visuals considering areas allocated for art and lighting programs.

Review budget for the inclusion of artwork into environment.

Consult with architect on finishes and materials that are deemed relevant.

BUDGET AND PRELIMINARY PRESENTATION
Prepare proposed budget and art allocation plan. Budget includes cost of artwork, framing, packing and shipping, installation, documentation of new and existing artworks, sales tax and expenses.

Allocate artworks on floor plans showing placement of new acquisitions by budget category.

RESEARCH AND LOCATION
Canvas galleries, artists' studios, auction house previews, and private dealers, to locate appropriate artwork for client presentation.

Consult with experts to aid in the selection of artworks outside field of expertise, if needed.

CLIENT PRESENTATION
Create personalized powerpoint presentation of proposed artwork or oversee and coordinate shipping and storage of artwork for presentations.

Present two or three artworks for each designated location to client or art committee so that client may choose one artwork.

ACQUISITION AND INSTALLATION
Create schedule for installation in accordance with completion of construction and move-in timetable.

Oversee all purchasing, framing, shipping, and storage of artwork. Catalogue each artwork. Supervise installation. Recommend art insurance.
